Brandon Pludwinski

Brandon Pludwinski (he/him) is a Jewish white settler with Polish roots. He grew up playing and learning in the Don River Watershed (Treaty 13) and Ottawa River Watershed (Treaty 9). He enjoys running, canoeing, camping, playing chess, and reading climate fiction books.
Brandon is currently a PhD Candidate in the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics at the University of Ottawa, supervised by Dr. Sonia Wesche. His research is focused on the intersections of human im/mobility, capitalism, colonialism, and climate change in Tthets’ék K’é Délį (Jean Marie River First Nation).
