Kim Mathieu is an MA student in Geography under the supervision of Dr. Sonia Wesche. She works in the North-West Territories investigating wilderness areas and their impacts on human well-being. She graduated with a BSc- Ecological Determinants of Health from McGill University and obtained a certificate in Climate Change and Health from Yale University while working as a Parks Canada Youth Ambassador. Expedition guide and naturalist in the Arctic and Antarctic, she learns and teaches about the impacts of climate change in these regions while on board small vessels.
